Related Argent, one of the largest privately-owned property and urban regeneration businesses in the UK, has today announced the appointment of John Forrester, former Global CEO and President of property consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, as Strategic Advisor to the board.
John will work closely with Related Argent’s Chief Executive, Tom Goodall, Chief Operating Officer of Related Companies and Chairman of Related London, Kenneth Wong and other Related Argent Executive Directors to advise on and support the continued expansion and reach of the Related Argent business.
John brings a wealth of experience that spans all aspects of property investment, development and management. Over a 35-year career he has worked on some of the most high-profile projects both in the UK and globally. He has also worked closely with Related Argent colleagues during Cushman & Wakefield’s 15-year tenure as office leasing agent for the King’s Cross estate.
The news comes at a key moment in the evolution of the Related Argent business. As of today, the Argent LLP business has ceased operating and its staff, assets and projects have all transferred to Related Argent, which has been operating in parallel since 2015. Related Argent has now also become the developer and asset manager of the King’s Cross estate, in addition to its existing role as developer and asset manager of Brent Cross Town, Heart of Hale and the recently opened build-to-rent (BtR) building, Author King’s Cross.
