Sammy Pahal is the Managing Director of the UK PropTech Association, a not-for-profit organisation established to drive digital transformation across the UK property industry and foster an environment that supports innovation. Since joining the organisation at its inception in 2017, Sammy has led its development through key milestones, including its merger with the British Property Federation, strengthening collaboration between the tech and real estate sectors. With a background in Psychology and previous experience at Ordnance Survey, Great Britain’s national mapping agency, Sammy brings a people-focused approach to innovation. She works closely with industry leaders, technology providers, and policymakers to help the sector navigate digital transformation and adopt solutions that create a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable built environment. Sammy currently leads a government-backed programme in partnership with the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG), identifying barriers to technology adoption and shaping recommendations to unlock innovation across planning, regeneration and development.
