Who does Margarethe look forward to meeting?

Bio:

Margarethe is a practice professor with more than 25 years’ experience in supporting urban economic development and a strong interest in data modelling approaches. She works at the intercept of the public and private sector, advising and delivering livering built environment solutions including housing, transport and retail. She previously worked as Head of UK Consulting at Buro Happold, a Senior Director of Strategic Consulting at Jacobs and has a long established small consultancy practice covering economics and spatial data solutions for clients based in the UK and overseas. She enjoys writing thought leadership and has previously delivered research programmes for the Urban Land Institute and Centre for London. Margarethe spent over a decade informing investment decision and policy approaches for the Mayor of London and Transport of London supporting the delivery of world leading programmes including congestion charging, London Living Wage, Low Emission Zones and the 2012 Olympic Games. She leads multidisciplinary teams to address emerging economic development issues working alongside public and private sector partners to deliver solutions with a strong focus on social justice and wellbeing. She is Member of the Mayor of London’s Infrastructure Advisory Panel and a member of the Mayor of Cambridge and Peterborough’s Business Advisory Panel and served as an expert advisor in the development of London’s latest industrial strategy and as Chief Advisor to the London Fairness Commission.
