Conceived and then co-founded PegasusLife, the most compelling senior housing platform in a generation, which fostered a tidal wave of new investment into the segment. From scratch and within two years, we built a 50 member team of outstanding people with a collaborative workplace culture; assembled development pipeline in excess of +£1bn/$1.3bn GDV across 38 sites, winning planning consents in some of the most challenging localities. This ‘Golden Age’ of retirement projects garnered an array of accolades including ten Housing Design Awards and a host of RIBA and Civic Trust awards. The focus of hispro bono work has been 22 years of service to Coram, Britain’s oldest children’s charity, established 275 years ago as The Foundling Hospital. Bishopsgate Goods Yard – located in Shoreditch and bordering the City, the 4.5ha scheme comprises +1.45m sq.ft offices, 176k sq.ft retail, 450 homes, 150 bed hotel, 10k sq.ft cultural centre and elevated public park in an atmospheric heritage setting. Edgware Town Centre – located next to Edgware Station in the heart of north London suburbia, the scheme is anticipated to comprise 3,500 new homes, Sainsbury’s superstore, 250,000 sq.ft retail and leisure, electrified bus garage, town square and new public park. (Ballymore-Transport for London JV) C. Ladbroke Grove – located at the northern border of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this project is anticipated to provide in excess of 2,500 new homes, Sainsbury’s superstore, retail high street, public parks and canal basin. Olympic Park – 1,200 homes and 20,000 sq.ft retail across three sites, the most prominent of which is the last of four buildings on the ‘East Bank’ alongside the new building for the BBC, University College London, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
