Heskel Nathaniel is the CEO and managing director of Trockland Management GmbH, a real estate development company he founded in Berlin in 2010. Born in Haifa, Israel, in 1962, he studied management and business administration in London before moving to Berlin in 1992 to work in the property business. Trockland’s philosophy is to contribute to urban development through the creation of real estate and “places worth living in.” The company’s portfolio includes numerous residential and commercial properties, with a focus on new construction, conversions, and renovations. Noteworthy projects include Pier 61|64 at the East Side Gallery and Eiswerk in Berlin-Mitte. Nathaniel has described his approach to urban development as a democratic process involving many different perspectives.
