AI-powered property management system Boom has raised $12.7 million in a funding round led by Avenue Growth Partners, with participation from former Hilton International CEO Ian Carter, Goldman Properties CEO Scott Srebnick, and Siemplify co-founder Gary Fatakov. The new investment will support Boom’s expansion into additional international markets, recruitment across engineering and data science, and further development of its agentic AI technology enabling hospitality and operational tasks to run autonomously.
Founded in Miami, Boom describes itself as the world’s first AI-powered property management system designed to automate operations for short-term rental and hospitality businesses. The platform now supports hospitality operators in 20 countries across five continents, reporting a Net Promoter Score of 86, more than double the SaaS industry average, while automating guest messaging, task management, reviews, and financial processes to reduce manual workload and improve response times.
“Our mission is to take the heavy lifting out of property management so operators can deliver better guest experiences and build stronger businesses,” said Shahar Goldboim, CEO and founder of Boom. “This funding allows us to keep earning that trust while scaling our agentic AI capabilities.” According to the company, its AI now handles up to 80% of guest messages and inquiries, freeing teams to focus on growth and owner relationships.
Brian Goldsmith, co-founder and partner at Avenue Growth Partners, emphasized the platform’s category-creating approach: “Boom is creating a genuinely new category with its AI-first approach to hospitality operations. The team has already proven the value of their platform and shown the scalability of their model across global markets.” The backing from former Hilton International CEO Ian Carter adds significant hospitality industry expertise to support Boom’s expansion strategy.
The funding positions Boom to accelerate development of its agentic AI technology, which enables autonomous handling of routine hospitality operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. The company’s strong NPS score and presence across multiple continents demonstrate market validation for AI-powered automation in the short-term rental and hospitality management sector, with plans to expand engineering and data science teams to support continued platform development and international growth.
