Alex Charlesworth, Head of UK Building Consultancy, Cushman & Wakefield

Alex is head of Cushman & Wakefield UK Building Consultancy team, and EMEA Building Consultancy Skill Line Lead. He is responsible for all commercial building surveying services. He specialises in dilapidations and landlord and tenant related matters, including exit strategy. Alex is also ex-Chair of RICS Building Surveying Professional Group Board 2014-2017, where his responsibilities included focus on professional and technical standards, knowledge, and expertise, on behalf of over 15,000 members. Alex was on the lead working group for a new global version of “Technical Due Diligence of Commercial Property 2020.” Alex has written many thought leadership articles, given seminars to other professionals and created a dedicated Cushman & Wakefield dilapidations website www.dilapidations.net. Alex is also involved in the LGBTQ+ group of C&W’s Inspire inclusion initiative.
