Bio:

Ana Hudson is a global leader in sustainability, city planning, and environmental stewardship, recognized for shaping how major cities integrate environmental performance, livability, and long-term value. She is the Executive Director of Sustainability and Environment at the King Salman Park Foundation, where she leads sustainability and ESG integration for one of the world’s most ambitious urban regeneration initiatives—a 17 km² landmark park in Riyadh. In this role, Ana drives the sustainability vision from strategy through delivery, ensuring that responsible resource management, urban greening and biodiversity restoration, climate resilience, and quality of life outcomes are embedded across all aspects of the project. Through strong governance, cross-sector collaboration, and community engagement, her leadership is helping translate Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 into practical, measurable results. With more than 20 years of international experience across Brazil, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, and academic training in architecture and urban planning from the University of São Paulo and a Master’s in City Planning from MIT, Ana has built and led sustainability and environmental functions from the ground up across urban planning, large-scale real estate, and infrastructure development. Her work spans the delivery of ESG frameworks, carbon and energy strategies, water and waste management programs, environmental compliance systems, and sustainable development guidelines for complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Ana is widely recognized for her contributions to regional sustainability practice, including helping shape some of the Middle East’s earliest green building regulations and leading Saudi Arabia’s first LEED for Cities Platinum and Sustainable SITES Initiative certifications. She is a trusted voice in global industry dialogue on sustainable development, climate resilience, and the strategic use of technology to improve environmental and social outcomes, advancing more inclusive, accessible, and people-centered urban environments. Ana believes that lasting impact is achieved through clear vision, forward-thinking leadership, and collaboration across disciplines and sectors.
