Bani has 31 years’ experience in the hospitality industry whereof 20 years have been focused on the Middle East and Africa Consistently ranked as one of the most powerful hoteliers in the Middle East, Bani is a widely respected hotelier and an acclaimed speaker at industry events in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He is a member of the Advisory Board for Future Hospitality Summit World (FHS), Future Hospitality Summit Africa, and the Marriott Franchise Advisory Council for Europe, Middle East & Africa. In 2022, Bani won Business Leader of the Year in the MEED SME Awards, and for the past three consecutive years, he has been included in the prestigious Forbes Middle East list of Top 100 Travel & Tourism Leaders. Prior to founding Aleph, Bani successfully developed, launched and managed several major international hotel brands. Previous roles include Regional Vice President Middle East & Africa at Wyndham Hotel Group, Director at Hospitality Management Services and Project Manager & General Manager at Disneyland Resort Paris. Under Bani’s visionary leadership, Aleph Hospitality has grown to become the largest independent hotel management company in the region. The company’s current portfolio consists of 50+ operating hotels, representing 7000+ rooms in 23 countries and 39 cities, as well as more than 50 restaurants and 35 bars under management.
