As Director and Head of Design Technology, Ciaran has been instrumental in guiding the evolution of practice technology within a rapidly transforming industry. He is also a member of the practice’s Sustainability Steering Group, with a strong interest in technology’s role in delivering sustainable buildings. He has led research projects on applying the Passive House standard in high-density residential projects and using material passports to drive a circular economy. Ciaran has been integral to projects at Stratford Waterfront, Canada Water, and White City. Before joining Allies and Morrison, he designed large-scale commercial and transport projects in Shenzhen, China, and Hong Kong. From Castlebar, Ireland, Ciaran is a Certified Passive House Designer with architecture degrees from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, Scotland..
