The Versicherungskammer group has bundled responsibility for real estate in an independent unit, Versicherungskammer Real Estate, a wholly owned subsidiary of Versicherungskammer Bayern. Business operations began at the beginning of April. The real estate subsidiary is managed by dual management.
The management lies with Daniel Preuße and Robert Heinlein, both of whom already held senior positions in the Versicherungskammer group. Together with over 100 employees, they take care of the entire real estate portfolio of the companies in the Versicherungskammer group, which currently has a volume of around 8 billion euros.
The existing range of services, in particular the expertise and in-house competence in the areas of investment management, portfolio and project development as well as asset and property management, is to be further expanded – and also offered as a service to companies outside the group.
Preuße has been with the Versicherungskammer group since November 2020 and previously headed real estate development and management. Before this time, he held various management positions at the planning and consulting company WSP since 2011. Heinlein has been with the company since 2018. Previously, he worked for Munich Re.
