ImmoScout24, Germany’s real estate marketplace, has launched a pre-marketing offering “to make previously invisible offers more visible and to make access to housing more transparent” for buyers and renters.
ImmoScout24 will introduce a ‘coming soon’ tag for properties, a tenant network, and waiting lists for renters and buyers. Tenants will gain access to other apartments within the network as a reward for marking their current property as a “coming soon”. The scheme is designed to offer transparency in the tight German rental market, where properties often get rented out under the table.
Daniel Hendel, CEO of ImmoScout24, said, “For over 25 years, we have been helping millions of people find their new home. But right now, personal connections often decide the outcome instead of fair access. This has to stop: apartments must not disappear into the grey market; they must be visible to everyone. We are already fighting for this today, with over 4.9 million opportunities for a new home.”
