JLL announces the new management committee that will lead the business in Portugal, composed of Patrícia Barão, Head of Residential, Marta Lourenço, Head of Portfolio Solutions and Value & Risk Advisory, and Carlos Cardoso, Managing Director at Tétris Portugal. This appointment follows the decision of the current CEO, Pedro Lancastre, to leave JLL at the end of this year.
Patrícia Barão will chair the new management committee and the Board, with the support of Marta Lourenço and Carlos Cardoso.
Patrícia joined JLL in 2015 as Head of Residential. She is the Vice-President of the Association of Real Estate Professionals and Companies (APEMIP) and Founder and Director of Wire Portugal (Women in Real Estate). She also coordinates the Real Estate Consulting course at ISEG and teaches the Luxury Real Estate Sales Management course at the same institution.
Marta Lourenço joined JLL in April 2010 as a Senior Consultant in Valuations, where she was responsible for international and institutional clients, focusing on retail assets and large portfolios. She currently leads the areas of Value & Risk Advisory for Portugal and Portfolio Solutions for Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and is also responsible for regulated appraisals and subscription of large portfolios.
Carlos Cardoso joined JLL in 2010 as Director of the Architecture Department. Later, in 2015, he became the Commercial Director of Tétris before being promoted to Head of Office in 2017. In 2021, he was appointed Managing Director of Tétris in Portugal.
