Laurent Longuet is the Chief Executive Officer of Positive Zero’s Generation business (formerly SirajPower). With a career spanning over two decades, Laurent brings a wealth of experience in leading and executing international energy projects, specializing in the solar sector. His professional journey includes impactful roles with distinguished organizations such as Group Total, Shams 1 Company, SunPower, and Akuo Energy, where he played a pivotal role in diverse regions like Europe, Iran, Indonesia, and the Middle East. As the CEO, Generation at Positive Zero, Laurent oversees the management of the largest distributed solar energy portfolio in the GCC, boasting a capacity of more than 250 MW in the UAE. Under his leadership, SirajPower has achieved impressive results since its inception in 2015, such as reducing over 140,400 metric tons of carbon emissions, installing solar PV systems on more than 600,000 sqm of roofs, and operating more than 500 buildings, making a significant impact on the regional energy landscape. Positive Zero’s power generation arm, led by Laurent, stands as the regional Green Champion with a global perspective, working towards a new energy economy. Laurent holds a BS from Ecole Normale Supérieure and an MS from Paris Tech, both in France.
