Nikolai Walter is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in the real estate, finance, and investment sectors. In his current role as Chief Operating Officer for German Commercial at Aroundtown, he brings a wealth of leadership and operational expertise. Before joining Aroundtown, Nikolai was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where he was responsible for the asset management of their significant German commercial portfolio. His impressive career also includes various senior positions at the Deutsche Bank Group, notably serving as Head of Asset Management for Germany at DWS and as a Director. Earlier in his career, Nikolai was a Credit Officer for Large-Scale Loans (Großkredite) at Eurohypo. Nikolai holds an MBA and a degree in real estate economics. He completed his studies at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (1995-1999) and pursued further education at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (2002-2003).
