With over 20 years of international experience in the built environment sector, Pierpaolo brings a unique blend of strategic leadership, global market expertise, and deep industry knowledge to his current role, where he is spearheading Traent’s transition from a breakthrough technology start-up to a scalable, market-ready SaaS provider. Prior to joining Traent, Pierpaolo served as Vice President of International Markets Development at Glodon, one of the world’s leading digital construction technology providers. During his tenure, he was responsible for formulating and implementing Glodon’s international expansion strategy, supporting global talent development, and delivering sustainable innovation in the working and living environment worldwide. His leadership extended across diverse markets including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and most notably Greater China. From 2015, he held the position of Managing Director China, and from 2017, Managing Director Greater China, driving strategic collaborations and digitalisation initiatives in the region. His commitment to advancing the built environment in China earned him several prestigious accolades, including the ‘China Building Economy Person of the Year’ award and the title of “Enlightener” at the Times Figure Award, conferred by China’s national broadcaster ifeng.com. He was also appointed Special Consultant of the Tianfu Institute of Building Economy.
