This guided walking tour explores the Greenwich Peninsula through the lens of placemaking, urban transformation, and emerging technologies. As one of London’s most ambitious regeneration sites, the Peninsula presents both realised interventions and large areas of land that remain underused or untouched.
The tour will examine key elements of the public realm and urban design, with a particular focus on the Design District, an experiment in curated creativity and mixed-use innovation. Alongside this, we will visit parts of the Peninsula that are still awaiting development, using these spaces as a platform to question what kind of future environments we want and need.
To support this dialogue, the tour incorporates speculative visualisations created using AI tools. These images offer provocations—reimagining current conditions and illustrating how technology can help us visualise adaptation, test new ideas, and invite more inclusive and sustainable approaches to urban change.
