Robert’s role includes global responsibility for sales growth and driving brand awareness. In January of 2025, Robert was appointed to the Board of Directors of BACnet International, a pivotal organization driving openness and interoperability in the smart building sector. Robert is an award-winning senior leader with an impressive record of success in developing and implementing highly effective global strategic business initiatives that drive substantial revenue growth and profitability. He has established a strong reputation as an earnings optimizer through extensive international experience analyzing the needs of Fortune 500 organizations, designing, and directing strategies to secure productive long-term relationships, expand market share, boost visibility, marketing, and worldwide presence. Robert first started his career in 1997 as a technical support engineer with Andover Controls, which was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2004. With a background in engineering, he served in a variety of positions including in product management, strategic sales and business development for the U.S., EMEA and Asia Pacific markets. Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in IT Engineering from De Montfort University in the United Kingdom and resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Outside of the office, in addition to spending time with his family, Robert enjoys running outdoors. He recently participated in the 2023 100 miles a month for Alzheimer’s Research UK fundraising initiative raising money for the cause by having run 100 miles in every month of 2023.
