Sky View Development, led by its founder and CEO Akash Kanjwani, has officially signed and enrolled in the First-Time Home Buyers (FTHB) Initiative at, a government-led programme introduced by the Dubai Land Department in collaboration with key government stakeholders. The signing ceremony was hosted at PropTech Connect Middle East in partnership with the Dubai Land Department.
The First-Time Home Buyers initiative aims to encourage long-term UAE residents to transition from renting to owning their first home in Dubai. The programme enables eligible buyers to access special benefits, including preferential pricing and dedicated inventory, through developers officially approved and enrolled under the initiative.
With this signing, Sky View Development becomes one of the select government-approved developers authorised to offer exclusive advantages to first-time home buyers under the programme. As part of the initiative, the developer will extend special discounts and preferred unit allocation to qualifying buyers across eligible projects.
Commenting on the enrolment, Kanjwani said: “This is a proud milestone for us. The First-Time Home Buyers initiative is a powerful step by the Dubai Land Department to support residents who aspire to own their first home in Dubai. At Sky View Development, we strongly believe in long-term value creation, and this programme aligns perfectly with our vision of making homeownership more accessible and meaningful for end users.”
The initiative simplifies the purchasing journey by allowing eligible residents to register through an official government platform using their Emirates ID. Upon qualification, buyers receive a unique QR code, which can be presented to enrolled developers to unlock exclusive first-time buyer benefits.
Sky View Development has confirmed that its upcoming residential project, Avion 100, will participate in the First-Time Home Buyers initiative, offering qualified buyers special launch benefits and preferred inventory selection.
This collaboration reflects Dubai’s continued commitment to fostering a sustainable, end-user-driven real estate market, while empowering residents to play an active role in the city’s long-term growth story.
