With over a decade of experience in data centre advisory and transactions, Stephen has led major mandates across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. His track record includes more than US$ 5 billion in global data centre deals, securing over 200MW of IT capacity and advising on a wide range of colocation, land, investment and development strategies. At Knight Frank, he is responsible for leading the global data centre division. He brings deep sector knowledge across the full lifecycle of data centre assets, from strategic site acquisitions and power procurement to hyperscale development and M&A. Stephen’s global network spans hyperscalers, colocation operators, telecom providers and institutional investors. On a day-to-day basis, he advises clients on high-value transactions, land acquisitions and long-term digital infrastructure strategies across key global markets His relevant experience includes: Transaction Advisory: Led complex assignments involving asset sales, corporate transactions and hyperscale site acquisitions across global markets. Advised institutional and private clients on investment strategies, joint ventures and build-to-suit structures within the data centre sector. Client Engagements: Worked with major operators, cloud providers and investors on acquisition and disposal mandates. Notable assignments include site acquisitions for Microsoft and Google, the sale of three European sites to Vantage, and a record-setting powered shell lease agreement for SEGRO in Milan. Development Advisory: Provided end-to-end support across the development lifecycle, from site identification and power strategy to transaction structuring. Advised on colocation capacity acquisition in Riyadh, powered shell leasing in Europe, and joint venture models across key growth markets. Market Reach: Executed transactions in over 30 international markets, with a focus on Europe and the Middle East. Delivered multiple hyperscale development deals in Athens in 2022, including a land sale, joint venture and powered shell structure.
