With 20 years of experience, Yetunde leads UKGBC’s mission to accelerate industry changes addressing the climate and nature crises. She aligns UKGBC’s work on climate mitigation, resilience, and nature, and oversees initiatives to scale up best practices, solutions, and innovations, including circular economy work. Previously, as Head of Climate Action at UKGBC, Yetunde led a series of industry-wide initiatives, including setting up the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard governance board and technical steering group. Starting her career as a life scientist, Yetunde has extensive experience in implementing evidence-based sustainability standards and frameworks, including post-disaster reconstruction and planning. Her diverse background includes roles in engineering and environmental consultancies, a property investment company, and central government.
