Zillow® and Realtor.com® are announcing an agreement to automatically share Zillow 3D Home® tours, interactive floor plans and photos in listings syndicated to Realtor.com®. Through this collaboration, real estate agents can quickly and easily share best-in-class immersive virtual content on both sites to meet home shoppers wherever they’re looking.
Interactive, immersive listing media gives shoppers a deep sense of a home and saves valuable time during their search. Virtual tours and floor plans help buyers efficiently narrow down their options and only tour homes they’re serious about – which is good for sellers and agents, too.
“At Zillow, we have long believed that more rich, interactive listing content benefits buyers, sellers, and agents. That’s why we provide our Zillow 3D Home technology to the industry for free, and it’s why we’re excited about collaborating with Realtor.com® to share our 3D tours and interactive floor plans with more shoppers,” said Cynthia Taylor, vice president of product at Zillow. “When shoppers have more information, they can make better decisions. We think that’s a good thing no matter where shoppers are looking.”
Zillow 3D Home tours and interactive floor plans give agents and real estate media companies a cost-effective way to uplevel their listings. This agreement expands the reach of digital listing content to help agents provide the digital shopping and selling experiences today’s consumers demand.
“At Realtor.com®, we’re committed to constantly enhancing the home search experience, and this relationship with Zillow raises the bar,” said Angela Lu, Realtor.com® vice president of corporate and business development. “By seamlessly integrating Zillow’s 3D Home tour technology into listings on our site, we’re empowering agents to better showcase their sellers’ properties while giving homebuyers a more immersive, informed way to explore homes—it’s a win-win for everyone.”
Zillow’s free-to-build 3D Home tours combine ultra-clear, 360-degree views with easy navigation to show shoppers where they are in the house, the camera’s direction and perspective, and the room’s dimensions. Zillow’s AI-generated interactive floor plan embeds the 3D tour and listing photos within it, giving shoppers an in-person perspective of a home’s shape and flow that scrolling through static images simply can’t.
According to Zillow’s Consumer Housing Trends Report, today’s home shoppers and sellers expect high-quality, immersive listing media on real estate listings. In fact, almost two-thirds (62%) of buyers said they wish more listings had 3D tours available. And, most sellers (71%) say they are more likely to hire an agent who includes virtual tours and/or interactive floor plans in their services.
Earlier this year, Realtor.com® and Zillow announced an agreement to syndicate Zillow’s multifamily rental listings to Realtor.com®, offering users a greater selection of available for-rent properties and providing property managers and multifamily partners the broadest audience of renters across both platforms. This new integration underscores our commitment to working with the industry to streamline and expand access to listing data and content.
Together, Zillow and Realtor.com® are helping elevate the real estate industry with more high-quality real estate content to create dynamic, immersive home shopping experiences.
