Victorville Hotel to Become Robot-Powered Courtyard by Marriott Following $41M Acquisition

Shared 21 April, 2025

A hotel in Victorville is poised to become one of the region’s most high-tech hospitality destinations following a $41 million acquisition deal by Nightfood Holdings, a company focused on automation and robotics-driven hotel operations.

Earlier this month, Nightfood announced it had entered into a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire the 155-room Holiday Inn located at 15494 Palmdale Road. The hotel is currently undergoing major renovations to meet the standards required for a rebrand under the Courtyard by Marriott® name—including the addition of a new, state-of-the-art fitness center.

What sets this project apart is its use of robotics and automation to power core hotel functions. The Victorville property already utilizes technology developed by Skytech Automated Solutions, a robotics firm recently acquired by Nightfood, to streamline operations, reduce labor costs, and enhance guest services.

“This transaction marks another milestone in Nightfood’s aggressive acquisition strategy,” the company stated in a release. “The Victorville property utilizes Skytech’s robotic technologies to reduce operating costs and improve profitability.”
