Björn Fraeb, Head of Investment Management, Retail Northern Europe, Nuveen Global

Björn is heading the Investment Management for Retail Northern Europe at Nuveen. He is leading multicultural teams of professionals, in delivering portfolio investment strategies for clients across the region, for retail investments totalling over €4 billion (AUM). With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, he has a proven track record of delivering value-added solutions and exceeding client expectations. Over his career he has led transactions with a total value of more than €4 billion. His expertise lies in deal structuring, asset management, and investments, which he has honed through previous roles at Hudson Advisors (Lonestar), TREI and Bank of Scotland Corporate (LBG). After completing his banking apprenticeship, Bjorn completed a dual course of study at the accadis University of Applied Sciences Bad Homburg as a Diploma in International Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Northumbria. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Durham Business School.
