In his capacity as Chief Technical Officer, Kamal Leads the entire technical cycle of the project’s division, which includes, Project Management, Control, Design, Commercial, Construction and Government relations. In his role of championing IMKAN Misr’s institutionalization and strategic growth, Kamal and his team have the pivotal role of bringing IMKAN Misr’s technical vision and strategy to life on the ground. A natural in leading and delivering results, Kamal comes with over 25 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management and General Contracting in projects spanning from North Africa to the Gulf region. Prior to Joining IMKAN Misr’s, Kamal held the position of Head of Projects for EMAAR Misr for all their projects in Egypt including Uptown Cairo, Mivida, Cairo Gate and Marassi . Prior to that, he spent over 13 years in Majid Al Futtaim Properties – Egypt, as Projects Director where he lead two iconic projects, Mall of Egypt and City Center Almaza. Kamal holds Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University, DBA from the German University in Cairo, as well as a Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) as PMP and International Project Management Association (IPMA) as CIPM, He is also accredited as a Consultant Engineer for Project and Construction Management by the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.
