Workspace Group PLC, Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Hutchings, leaves immediately on Monday. Hutchings had been in post for just over a year. As his replacement, Workspace hires Charlie Green, starting on February 2.
Tom Edwards-Moss will also join Workspace as chief financial officer-designate on February 23, while outgoing CFO Dave Benson will remain until the end of April to ensure a smooth handover. Workspace says trading in its financial third quarter has been in line with management expectations, and it will provide a business update on Wednesday.
Chair Duncan Owen says of outgoing CEO Hutchings: “He has led the team in defining and launching the ’fix, accelerate and scale’ strategy, which is delivering positive results. The board remains committed to this strategy and is confident the right foundations have been laid to rebuild operational performance.”
Commenting on incoming CEO Green, Owen says: “His deep expertise in growth strategies and operational performance ideally positions him to accelerate the execution of our existing strategy.”
