Oval Real Estate Appoints Former Homes England Chief Exec as Special Adviser

Shared 19 March, 2026

Oval Real Estate has appointed the former chief executive of Homes England, Peter Denton CBE, as a special adviser.

Denton has more than 30 years’ experience across affordable housing, regeneration, place-making and pan-European real estate investment. He has held numerous senior leadership roles in the public, private and third sector during his career. He will play a key role in strengthening the team as Oval increases its focus on regenerating large-scale brownfield sites across the UK.

Nick Prior, CEO and Founder of Oval, added, “We have a clear vision and a long-term strategic approach to regeneration. We want to substantially grow this focus, and in working with Peter, we will be able to harness his extensive experience in cities across Europe, public/private delivery and housing to help us do this.”

James Craig, Executive Chair and Founder of Oval, said, “Peter’s experience, not just in the residential sector, but across mixed-use, infrastructure and in building communities, will help us accelerate the delivery of our strategy, reinforcing Oval’s reputation as a trusted partner, able to deliver the full development cycle, from master developer to project implementation.”
