International Workplace Group plc has completed the acquisition of WOJO, strengthening not only its leadership in France but also expanding its reach across Europe. The transaction, approved by the French Competition Authority, sees IWG acquire Wojo from its joint shareholders, Bouygues Immobilier and the France based Hotel Accor Group.
Integrating Wojo into IWG’s platform creates opportunities to connect French corporate customers with IWG’s international network while offering multinational clients access to Wojo’s city-centre locations and hospitality-led environments.
Wojo has built expertise in designing and operating large workplaces integrated into mixed-use developments and hotels, while IWG brings global enterprise sales capabilities, procurement scale, workplace technology and one of the industry’s multinational customer bases. The combined network could allow occupiers to standardise flexible workspace contracts across multiple countries, while landlords may benefit from IWG’s international sales engine and Wojo’s experience in hospitality-oriented workplace management.
