Aize has acquired Samp, bringing together complementary technologies, teams and visions for how industrial companies work with complex asset information.
The combination will address industrial assets across their full lifecycle, from newer, greenfield facilities built around comprehensive CAD and engineering models to decades-old brownfield assets where technical information is often scattered, incomplete or outdated.
Jarle Skrebergene, CEO of Aize, said, “Together, we can connect engineering intent, operational information and what actually exists in the field, creating a uniquely powerful foundation for industrial companies to understand and work with their assets throughout their lifecycle.”
Aize and Samp approach industrial information from complementary starting points. For newer assets, Aize builds on rich CAD and engineering models and connects them with operational and enterprise information. For existing brownfield assets, Samp starts from the reality of the field, using AI to create a structured 3D representation and connect it with existing technical information.
Laurent Bourgouin, co-founder and CEO of Samp, said, “Shared Reality bridges the gap between physical reality and the technical information companies rely on every day. Together with Aize, we can connect engineering, operations and field reality across the entire asset lifecycle.”
