Orange Egypt has signed a strategic partnership with Cairo-based mixed-use real estate developer MARAKEZ to deploy telecommunications infrastructure, smart systems, and integrated digital services across four residential and commercial developments.
The agreement covers Ramla on Egypt’s North Coast, District 5 in New Cairo, Aeon Towers in 6th of October City, and Mall of Arabia. Orange Egypt will design, install, and operate telecommunications networks tailored to the requirements of each project.
Orange Egypt will also introduce Triple Play services at Ramla, comprising ultra-fast broadband internet, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and fixed-line voice services. Public Wi-Fi will be available across the development’s beach areas, while hotels and commercial units will gain access to high-speed internet.
At Mall of Arabia, the partnership involves installing and developing an intelligent closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system for the first phase of the mall, as well as providing public Wi-Fi for visitors. The planned systems are expected to support the customer experience and the mall’s operations.
