BreezeMove, the PropTech platform that aims to transform the UK property transaction process, has secured a £160k investment from GC Angels. The funding will support the tech startup’s expansion into Manchester and further enhance its technology platform.
Having already begun onboarding estate agents across Greater Manchester, Breezemove is targeting further expansion into Leeds, London and Bristol as it continues to scale nationally.
Phil Melia, CEO & Founder of Breezemove, said, “Having spent more than a decade in property development, I experienced first-hand the frustrations and inefficiencies that exist throughout the home-moving process. We launched Breezemove to bring greater accountability, transparency and efficiency to every stage of the transaction journey. The Venture Forward programme really helped us to understand what was required when undergoing an institutional funding round and was ultimately invaluable when we were raising funds.”
He also added, “This investment from GC Angels now gives us the capital we need to continue enhancing our technology and accelerating our growth. We’ve already seen strong adoption across Birmingham, Liverpool and now Manchester, and we’re excited to build on that momentum as we expand into new regions.”
Ranvir Singh MBA, LLM, MA Oxon., investment manager at GC Angels, said, “The property transaction process is extremely complex and fragmented. Breezemove has developed an innovative solution that addresses these challenges by improving accountability and transparency across the entire transaction chain.”
