Chestertons Global, the international arm of British real estate firm Chestertons, has appointed Alasdair Hedley as Chief of Strategy and Expansion. He will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Dubai.
Hedley will grow Chestertons Global’s international network, build strategic partnerships and look for opportunities in new markets. The firm has recently expanded into the French Riviera, the Cayman Islands, Marbella, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Hedley has more than 20 years’ experience in property. He joined Countrywide in 2002 and went on to lead international strategy and affiliate programmes for Countrywide and Connells Group brands, including Hamptons International and John D Wood & Co. Over his career he has worked with 45 real estate brands in international markets, connecting clients with around 150,000 overseas properties.
Hedley said the role will build on his experience of developing relationships across markets as he helps strengthen the network and expand into key markets.
Managing Director Mohamed Mussa said Hedley’s understanding of cross-market relationships will give network members more opportunities to collaborate, share expertise and reach international markets.
