FASTR, an energy service provider and decarbonisation partner for the real estate industry, and KUGU, the Berlin-based technology company, are entering into a strategic partnership to develop “Pulse,” an energy management system specifically tailored to the real estate industry and energy service providers. The digital “Pulse” platform enables the remote monitoring, analysis, control, and optimisation of heat generation systems.
FASTR has expertise in the planning, construction, financing, operation, and optimisation of energy systems. KUGU contributes its technology and expertise in digital energy management and AI-based heating optimisation. With “Pulse,” operating and consumption data from entire system portfolios are centrally aggregated. The rollout across the entire FASTR portfolio is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
Enno Philipps, Head of Operations at FASTR, said, “With ‘Pulse,’ we are transforming the traditional boiler room into an intelligent, digitally controlled component of our energy infrastructure. For our customers, this means that we can not only operate systems efficiently, but also actively improve their performance based on data, continuously and holistically, and guarantee future savings.”
Christopher von Gumppenberg, co-founder and managing director of KUGU, said, “The decarbonisation of existing buildings depends not only on new technology, but also on how efficiently existing and new systems are operated. ‘Pulse’ demonstrates the potential that arises when technology and energy services are consistently considered together.”
