Veridue., an AI-native due diligence and M&A platform for renewable energy and data centres, has raised a €3.44 million ($4 million) pre-Seed round to support the platform’s rollout. The round was led by Episode 1 Ventures, with participation from HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and Pi Labs, as well as Aurora Energy Research co-founder Cameron Hepburn and QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey’s former CEO Jeremy Palmer.
Timo Bertsch, Investment Manager at HTGF, said, “The infrastructure Europe needs – renewables, data centres, grid capacity – represents one of the most critical buildouts of our generation. Capital is ready. Projects are in the pipeline. What’s been missing is the ability to move deals at the pace the moment demands. Veridue is fixing exactly that.”
The company highlighted that although Europe and the US are experiencing surging demand for renewables, driven by data centres, electrification, and a renewed focus on energy security, and capital appetite is strong, the buildout is bottlenecked by slow, expensive, and manual processes.
Daniel Csonth, CEO and Founder of Veridue, “We built Veridue as the solution we wished we had when we were the ones carrying the risk on a decision. It is not simply a chatbot pointed at a data room. It is AI trained on a proprietary dataset of real deals and their diligence outcomes, running on our own agent layer to ensure results are deterministic with 100% traceable accuracy.”
