PropertyMe has launched AiMe Connect. The feature lets agencies use Claude or ChatGPT to ask questions about their live PropertyMe data. The company says this makes it the first Australian residential property platform to connect directly to the AI assistants agencies already use.
PropertyMe manages close to two million properties for 6,500 agencies. AiMe Connect is the latest product in AiMe, its family of AI tools built for residential real estate.
From screens and spreadsheets to plain questions
Until now, getting answers from PropertyMe data meant clicking through screens or working across several Excel files. With AiMe Connect, agencies link their own Claude or ChatGPT account to PropertyMe. They can then ask about portfolios, properties, tenancies, inspections, maintenance jobs, tasks, lease renewals, team members and contacts, including owners, tenants and suppliers.
For example, a Property Manager could ask for a breakdown of the tasks, jobs, inspections and renewals due this week across their portfolios. They could also ask which open items haven’t had a status update in more than 30 days, or what the average rent is in each suburb. Answers can come back as tables, charts, spreadsheets or personalised dashboards.
Standard reports can’t cover every agency’s requirements. AiMe Connect lets Principals and Portfolio Managers build the view they need on the spot, across multiple portfolios, without waiting for a new report.
Ashleigh Goodchild, Director of Property Management at SOCO Realty, said: “We can see stats, but we can’t actually see the reason behind those stats. That’s what AiMe Connect lets us see, the next layer we’ve been missing.”
“Choose AI their way”
CEO Brian Donn said customers often tell PropertyMe that their answers are already on the platform but take too many screens and reports to reach. “They want to ask a question in plain language and get an answer,” he said.
He described AiMe Connect as a way for agencies to use the AI assistant they have already chosen alongside PropertyMe, rather than adopting another tool. It is available to more than 35,000 PropertyMe users. It builds on PropertyMe’s existing AI tools AiMe Reply and AiMe Comply, and an agentic version of AiMe is coming next.
“Our goal is to take hundreds of thousands of hours of busywork off agencies’ plates and get them back to the work they truly love,” Donn said.
Built on MCP, read-only at launch
AiMe Connect uses Model Context Protocol (MCP), the emerging standard for connecting AI assistants to business software. The first release is read-only, so the AI can query data but cannot change anything in an agency’s portfolio. It follows existing PropertyMe permissions, and agencies control who has access. PropertyMe encourages customers to review the data settings of the AI tool they choose.
AiMe Connect works with Claude and ChatGPT on desktop, web and mobile, and PropertyMe plans to support more AI platforms in future. It is available from 8 October 2026 to customers on the Manage PM Advanced tier or above. More information:
